Wonderful, DE licious comfortable affordable. Old school town cafe, nostalgia no extra charge. But clean, efficient. Vegetarian options. The rare experience that exceeds expectations for a couple of dollars more than drive through. Five Stars 😏😌😆

Best food in Northwest Jersey. Fresh, local, healthy. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options as well as locally raised meats and cheeses. Great service and great people too!

I can't believe I've been coming to Frenchtown for 20 years and have never eaten at Frenchtown cafe! My wife and I often bike up the path along the Delaware River from Bulls Island Park to Frenchtown (about 9 miles of level path), and then enjoy a light lunch and some shopping before heading back. We have eaten at a number of other places over the years but just today we tried Frenchtown Cafe. What a friendly place! I had a very tasty burger with tzatziki, and avacado. My wife tried the daily special which was enchiladas. She was amazed at how light the tortilla was. Now it's time to climb back on our bikes and burn off the calories!Be sure to give the Frenchtown cafe a try!

Quirky little town dinner that serves breakfast and lunch. A few different style eggs are available along with vegetarian options. Neat locals spot that is usually packed.

Love.Love.Love this place!!! Great food, family atmosphere and they name you feel at home!!! Peter, the manager is very professional and intuitive to customer needs. The staff is very helpful and friendly. You would be remiss if you didn't try it for breakfast, or lunch. A home run in every aspect.

Tucked away in a cute small town in NJ, this place is ideal for a weekend brunch! Keep in mind that it is almost always crowded, even on weekdays. Would definitely recommend the honey fried chicken and blueberry pie

Best breakfast in Hunterdon. Great lunches to. Excellent service too! Not a fancy place, just a fun relaxing place with good food and service. Frenchtown is a nice place to walk around and enjoy the Delaware River.

Best breakfast in Hunterdon County, if too busy head to the Sky Manor Cafe in Alexandria. Same owner, same great quality.

Good food, good service. Desserts looked amazing but enormous, so we skipped. Maybe next time.

I admire this spot! They provide high class food, their menu is nice, The chef in that restaurant is a real authority in the kitchen, I enjoy very much tasting all their dishes. The dishes are consistently fresh and tasty, the attitude towards the customers is agreeable. I often eat in this restaurant and I not even once was discontended. I recommend this place.

Good food... pleasant atmosphere. Ordered a flank salad medium rare...WAY more rare than medium, and meat was not warm enough either. Service a little slow. That being said, it was tasty and well seasoned. My tablemates liked their food too.

It's good, but the service is a little shoddy. They took quite a while after boxing up our food to bring the check. But the food is well worth the few extra minutes so 4*.

After 5 or 6 years of eating there I must say I have never been disappointed until this last weekend . I ordered a pork roll ND cheese sandwich and a glass of icetea . T he e porkroll was over cooked almost burnt cut up and covered with egg . Liquid cheese dripping all over the place. The icetea was tastless , not one hint of the sugar or lemon . So I will stop by one more time and give them a chance to get things right.

We just wanted to say this is one of the best places to eat breakfast! The food and service are impeccable! Jonie, the waitress is our favorite! And the owner, Rosella Is an amazing lady!! she really cares about her customers.Annette and Pat

A bit different than it was since remodeling, but it still restains its charm and the food is great. Good to have it back for Frenchtown.

Yummy food. Very unique with excellent gourmet flavor combinations. And the staff are like friends.

Food is good, though I wish breakfast was available more of the day. Service is always nice, but they can get overwhelmed with people and things get slow. This and the Frenchtown bridge cafe are the best eats for breakfast around those parts.

This unassuming restaurant looks more like a diner than a cafe but don't let that fool you. Friendly service and great food make this one of the best places for a casual meal in the area.Be sure to check the board for specials. There's always something interesting to be found. My only regret is that I live to far away to enjoy the Cafe on a regular basis like the locals!

Awesome breakfast, a ton of food for a good price. I have had the apple nut pancakes and an egg sandwich both of which were great! A must visit for breakfast in Frenchtown.

Such a quaint cozy place in a very friendly small town and a great staff and the food is off the hook!

Always good food , coffee and friendly staff. Downside is they used every available inch of floor space after rebuilding packing people in almost too tight. Then again business is good enough to have a line for breakfast at 8 am so they need the seating.

The makeover is beautiful. The food is as great as ever. The staff is wonderful. For 9 years now I drive an hour to dine there. I miss the long counter and jovial interaction with the staff which is now limited to a 5 seater at the back. But I still love them all . Rosella you've done well. Thank you for not giving up.

Stopped in on the day of a big snow storm and the diner was nearly full. We had a menu and hot cup of coffee in minutes and our breakfast in less than 15. Breakfast was excellent! I had the Lumberjack special...3 plate sized pancakes eggs and sausage. May have been the best breakfast I have ever eaten😊

Absolutely a must visit place!! Staff are friendly and attentive! The Cafe is warm and inviting! The food was excellent and the prices were very reasonable! Will be returning again and well worth the hour drive!

Great place for breakfast. Fun place, old pictures on the walls and tables, friendly staff, GREAT COFFEE, FOOD IS DELICIOUS. Great place for breakfast and lunch. NO DINNER (Boooo). Can be tough to get a seat on the weekends but worth the wait! Old nostalgia place with a great vibe. Never had a bad meal at this place. Get the French Toast- so many varieties... tough to choose! And they ALWAYS refill your coffee too!!! Such a treasure to find a place like this!!! Note: Parking in Frenchtown can be tough but it’s a great town to explore if you have to wait for a table... Great place for friendly people!!!

A beautiful renovation after the fire. Staff are attentive and friendly. The food is fantastic - try the baha chicken salad!

This little cafe is wonderful. It has an old style luncheonette interior. I have eaten here many times, and have never been disappointed - good food matched by great service.

Great coffees. popular and good food Locals and visitors all head here. We had omelette which we big meals in themselves without the trimmings Intend to revisit next time we are in town
